Our Audit and Assurance Internal Quality Monitoring (iQM) Team plays a vital role in assessing audit quality, supporting engagement teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. From conducting ‘cold' reviews of audit files to working on global methodology projects and engaging with regulators, this team is at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing audit excellence. What You'll Do:

• Assess and enhance audit quality, conduct ‘cold' reviews of completed audit and assurance engagements, evaluating compliance with standards and firm methodology.
• Provide actionable insights, draft findings that highlight best practices and areas for improvement, helping engagement teams deliver top-quality work. How can we better support teams in raising audit quality?
• Work with senior stakeholders, discuss review conclusions with senior members of the firm, providing recommendations that drive meaningful change.
• Ensure follow-through on quality improvements, perform post-review checks to ensure corrective actions are applied in future engagements.
• Support and strengthen quality management processes, conduct walkthroughs, monitor controls, and assist with ISQM (UK) 1 implementation. How can we continuously improve our approach to quality management?
• Stay ahead of industry changes, continuously monitor developments in audit and assurance to help the firm proactively adapt. How can we future proof our approach to audit quality?

What You'll Bring:

• ACA / CA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualification.
• Deep knowledge of UK auditing, ethical, and accounting standards (including IFRS) and UK company law.
• Proven experience at senior manager or director level in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence senior individuals.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet key deadlines.
• Experience in audit software development or data analytics is desirable but not essential.
