In-person work experience – Future Choices: Access Accountancy
This work experience provides you with real insight into working at an accounting and professional services firm.
You will get the opportunity to:
- Complete in-person work shadowing across several departments providing the opportunity to gain an understanding of the different areas of our business.
- Take part in virtual workshops focusing on different types of career opportunities available within our industry – including networking with Forvis Mazars employees.
- Work on the Forvis Mazars Challenge, an interactive sustainability brief throughout the week.
- Apply for one of our school leaver roles for 2025 or 2026 depending on your year group.
This is a paid programme and we will also provide IT equipment during your time with us.
Who’s it for?
Our Future Choices: Access Accountancy is open to Year 12/S5 and 13/S6 students within the UK. In line with our commitment to improve access to our profession to those from all backgrounds, we particularly encourage students who meet the eligibility requirements set by Access Accountancy.
When and where does it take place?
Future Choices: Access Accountancy runs in October half-term for Year 13/S6 and Easter holidays for Year 12/S5 students across many of our offices in the UK.

Virtual work experience – Skills for Success
This virtual work experience in partnership with Springpod gives you a glimpse into life at Forvis Mazars, the opportunities available to you and the skills needed to succeed.
You will get the opportunity to:
- Explore a wide range of areas within professional services from Tax and Accounting to Consulting, Audit and Assurance.
- You’ll get to grips with the skills needed to excel in your career, and discover how to put the skills and expertise learned, into practice. develop and practice new skills relevant to your future career in Forvis Mazars.
- Hear from Forvis Mazars industry professionals on their own career pathway and the skills needed to succeed.
- Test your ability with activities and quizzes and reflect on your journey so far.
Who’s it for?
This virtual programme is for high school and college students who are interested in a career in accountancy and professional services firm.
It is available on-demand so that you can complete around your own schedule.
