About the internship  

Spend your Summer in the City at Mazars with a three-week, paid internship in one of our service lines. Upon successful completion of this internship, you may have the opportunity to fast track to a graduate role in the same department.

During your time with us you'll:  

  • Gain exposure, enabling you with hands on experience within the Mazars environment. 
  • Participate in a full induction which will give you a great insight into life at Mazars and upskill you in preparation for your internship. 
  • Achieve a good understanding of the type of client facing work that takes place at Mazars. 
  • Participate in interactive skills sessions across numerous employability topics. 
  • Build your professional network within Mazars. 
  • Have the opportunity to fast track for a 2025 graduate trainee role in the same department as your internship. 

About the team 

To keep pace with the successful growth of Mazars sustainability services, evolving regulation and market sentiment, Mazars in the UK is seeking sustainability professionals to join our team. Working alongside our existing sustainability team, and interacting regularly with our global centres of excellence, you will support international and domestic clients with the establishment and maintenance of their sustainability programs and ESG reporting.   

Our sustainability team delivers services across three key pillars; sustainability consulting, sustainable finance and sustainability assurance. As part of our team you will gain exposure to all three areas, greatly enhancing your understanding of the application of sustainable principles in a broad range of business contexts before you further specialise as your career with Mazars develops. These roles present an excellent opportunity to grow your career whilst helping our clients navigate and positively contribute to the sustainability agenda.  

About you 

We are looking for exceptional candidates to join our team who demonstrate the following: 

  • On track to achieve a Masters degree in sustainability, environment, human rights, international development, business, finance or accounting. 
  • Ability to undertake research and apply critical analysis thinking to generate insightful recommendations and conclusions and solve problems. 
  • Interpersonal skills; the ability to build client relationships with a foundation of trust and responsibility.  
  • Analytical skills; the ability to think critically, research and solve problems.  
  • Attention to detail and strong time-management skills.  
  • Commitment to self-development & learning.  
  • Affinity with our values; in particular, respect for individuals, diversity, and integrity.  
  • Teamwork; the ability to function and contribute effectively as part of a high achieving team.  
  • A penultimate postgraduate student at a UK based university.   

We do not provide sponsorship for our Summer internships. However, you can apply if you are studying at a UK based university and hold a valid Student Visa for the duration of the internship. 

Strong academic performance is important; however, we understand that things don't always go to plan. Our recruitment process looks at your whole self – academic achievements as well as other experiences in which you have grown and developed. We balance your academic results alongside the Mazars online assessment within our recruitment process to ensure that you will be successful in your role with us.
