Client Manager Healthcare (1234)

This is a leadership role with responsibility for the development and management of an AOS Healthcare portfolio. The successful candidate will have the enthusiasm and drive to capitalise on a broad range of market opportunities.

The successful candidate will work with the National AOS Healthcare Team to build our market presence and significantly grow the AOS Healthcare practice, delivering year end compliance and advisory services to a range of medical clients - e.g. GP Practices, GP's, PCNs, Consultants, etc.

Job Role

The successful candidate will be expected to  manage and develop a portfolio of healthcare  clients, identify and react to market opportunities ,  manage a small team by coaching, developing,  leading and inspiring them. The client portfolio will consist of GP Practices,  GP's, PCNs, Consultants, etc. In addition to providing compliance services the candidate will be expected to identify opportunities for advisory services. Specific expectations:

  • Develop  own professional network, generate and convert opportunities from existing and/or new clients.
  • Build and sustain deep relationships with clients.
  • Ensure financial targets are met.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge and expertise in medical accounting, and use this to support his/her team
  • Continuously work to deepen and enhance own knowledge and that of others within the team.
  • Takes personal responsibility for delivering excellence in both client projects and internal operations.
  • Working together with respect to achieve partnership goals, putting the partnership ahead of personal interest whilst demonstrating high levels of integrity and professionalism.
  • Coach and develop team, with a focus on broader advisory skills and business development.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Ideally the candidate will have experience of providing accounting services to healthcare clients and will have experience of managing client relationships. Alternatively the candidate must demonstrate a strong desire to specialise in this niche market, and be able to articulate this desire. The successful candidate must be

  • A self-starter , driven individual, with an ambition for growth and success.
  • Capable of inspiring and leading the team to deliver excellent client service.
  • A market facing professional who will work in the local professional community to identify and reciprocate workflow.
  • Willing to work alongside other service lines internally to drive growth and internal reciprocity.
  • Able to set a culture and tone for business development and growth
  • Experienced in coaching and people development skills.
